Privacy Policy

175 is committed to providing you with the highest levels of customer service. This includes protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement explains how 175 protects the privacy of your personal information under the National Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988.

Collection of Information
175 collects personal information in a number of ways. This can be directly from you when you deal with us over the telephone, send us correspondence by letter, fax or email, fill out an account application form, or when you have contact with us in person; or from third parties such as people making bookings on your behalf.

Use of Information
175 uses the personal information collected to provide you with our services and to administer and manage those services, including billing, collecting debts and conducting appropriate checks for credit worthiness. Your personal information may also be used to inform you of new features, services or promotions from time to time.

Disclosure of Information
All personal information is only made available to those authorised individuals who need to handle that information for the purposes outlined in this policy. In some circumstances, personal information may also be disclosed to third parties such as mailing houses, debt-recovery functions or your representatives. In such cases 175 will require an undertaking from such persons to comply with the National Privacy Principles and to not use the personal information for any purposes beyond the scope of our contract with them.

175 will also disclose personal information if it is necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorised or required by law, reasonably necessary to enforce the law, or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity.

Data Quality
Prior to the use and disclosure of personal information, 175 will take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is relevant and to the extent necessary, accurate, complete and up to date for the purpose for which it will be used.

Data Security
Safeguards will be maintained to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, destruction, use or disclosure and against accidental loss.

Openness
175 has clearly expressed policies on its management of personal information and these will continue to be readily available.

Access and Correction
Where a person requests access to their personal information, 175’s policy is to allow access, subject to certain conditions allowed by law.

Where necessary, 175 will correct personal information where that information is found to be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

Transborder Data Flows
175 does not, for the purposes of the Privacy Act, transfer personal information overseas.

Sensitive Information
175 will not collect sensitive information about you.
